This revamped space creatively incorporates a bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen and laundry area. During the renovation, the basement received its own entry to add incremental value to the property, and to separate the new suite from the upstairs living space in the home. The family can also now use the basement as a rentable studio apartment.

Good Bones hosts Mina and Karen show off a redesigned attic in an old home. The new space serves as a bonus living space that incorporates plenty of seating for the family to play. A skylight and the vintage style window let plenty of light into the space.

A remodeled basement done by the Property Brothers gives a family with two daughters more room to showcase their creativity. A custom mural makes this space most unique, while durable, sealed-concrete floors add function. A bonus room on Good Bones is transformed to lend space for fun and play. Built-in seating provides room for lounging (or a good nap). Purple shiplap walls add character, and bohemian accents including leather poufs and a natural wood tiered coffee table make this redesigned room a memorable one.
